Description:
A fine, lightly potted mug, probably Yorkshire, decorated in tones of mottled brown and inscribed God Speed The Plow. With a scroll handle terminating in acanthus bosses.
Circa 1780
Approx - 5 inches (125mm) tall.
In good condition save a hairline from the rim through to the 3rd band, nibbles to the rim and paint losses to decoration.
